When open, access to Whanganui Bay is by the grace of Ngāti Te Maunga and the Whanganui Bay Māori Reservation Trust and in partnership with the Aotearoa Climbing Access Trust.
You MUST register and pay online for each day you are at the crag, before you arrive – see http://whanganuibay.acat.org.nz
Park cars ONLY at the top of the gorge or at the climbers’ campsite.
