From the Spencer Glacier, the lower rib involves climbing in gullies on the right of the icefall (watch out for ice blocks). The gullies may be snow-filled. The route emerges onto a rock arête that continues in a series of buttresses and arêtes before the final snow and rock ridge to the summit. Rock crux in the lower section. The route could have a number of variations. The easiest descent is probably via Mt Meeson and Mt Coronet.
