Copland River

Type

The Copland is a catchment of extremes. One of the most popular tracks in Westland allows fast travel along the full length of the main valley, with three huts and some of New Zealand’s best hot pools. Away for this highway, with the exception of the approach to Welcome Pass, be prepared for thick bush and scrub, uncompromising terrain, and strikingly beautiful mountains.
