From the summit of Mt Coronet, traverse the Main Divide to the summit of Mt Meeson.

Use either of the Haupapa Tasman Glacier routes onto Mt Coronet and cross the basin beneath that peak to reach the Main Divide.

From the glacier to the left of the rib, traverse into a narrow couloir breaching the length of the lower rib. Ascend the couloir to a snow slope and then up the rock arête for eleven pitches on good rock. The easiest descent is probably via Mt Coronet.
