Located on

A direct 2000m line from the Mueller Glacier moraine to the unnamed peak
south of Sefton, deviating around some big crevasses on the upper shelf. The
lower shelf was reached by climbing a loose 70º moraine wall. This could be
avoided by walking up the lower Shelf Glacier instead.

The red line is more accurate than the black line. The X marks the bivvy, a lofty perch 25m away from the active icecliifs.

Hey Peter – if you click on the "edit" tab for this route, above, you can scroll down to "Route image" and upload your pik from your computer to here. If stuff is wrong, don't hold back from fixing it yourself. The revision system means that all the original text/versions are always retained in the database.

Oh it is way wrong.
Is there an email address that I can send a pic to with the line of my route marked on it?
I have a pic here (thanks Cam and Guy) that shows the route more clearly.

Description updated – thanks PKD, who notes also that the line marked on the topo in the Aoraki Mt Cook guide is wrong.
