Crossing the Pakihaukea Pass

From the pass descend due west till the 1100m contour line marks a flat shelf. Follow this shelf northward through forested regions to the right-hand waterfall. Descend the true left of the waterfall avoiding bluffs in the central area of the wall. Pakihaukea Pass offers a direct but somewhat steep descent into the Tutoko valley. 12 hours to the road from Lake Turner.
