Gain the base of the spur from the true left of the Linda Glacier (the route may change owing to glacier movements). Then head up the spur until 100m below the top, where the route moves right up the final steep 50m of ice onto the ridge just north of the summit. This route has been used to access the Balfour Glacier from the Grand Plateau.

A straightforward snow climb, but like Silberhorn it can be very icy in winter. Watch for shrunds and icecliffs near the bottom
