Standard Route

From the Tasman Glacier, either climb directly to the plateau between Green and Walter using slopes under Green’s Big South Face (early season only), or pick a route onto the ridge north of Pt 2258m, which is an exposed snow arete in its upper half. From the plateau to the col is easy.
To reach the Times Glacier, descend steep snow on the Stevenson Glacier, which is usually very crevassed from January onwards.
