P1 Alpine (Mt Cook) 1+ Follow the north branch of the Lawrence Glacier until it steepens below Lawrence Col. Here, gain access to the upper glacier that drains the north-western slopes of Lawrence Peak. A straightforward climb.
	East Ridge, 1+	1+	0m		0
P1 Alpine (Mt Cook) 1+ Follow easy slopes to reach the snowy East Ridge north of Jagged Glacier. This ridge narrows and leads to steep rock, which is followed directly to the summit.
	North Ridge, 2-	2-	0m		0
P1 Alpine (Mt Cook) 2- Take the southernmost Gridiron Glacier. When below the rock buttress on the upper névé, traverse northwards around the head of a snow couloir that provides access to the northern Gridiron Glacier. From here, head up to the Lawrence divide and follow snow slopes with some easy rock scrambling on the Lawrence side of the ridge to the unimposing summit.
