From the North Temple

The North Temple-South Temple circuit is a popular two day trip. The saddle
linking the two valleys, known locally as Gunsight Pass, between Belfry and
Bruce Peak, is reached from the North Temple Valley by following the obvious
gully which narrows to a gut at mid height before opening out near the col.
There is some danger from avalanches on the approaches on both sides of the
col and of rockfall on the north side.
