Access:
From St Arnaud drive 35km toward Blenheim on SH63. Just beyond the Branch River turn right and follow a hydro road for about 8km to an aerial cableway at the Branch/Leatham confluence. For climbs in the Branch, park here unless you have a 4WD vehicle (or a MTB). You must obtain permission for access to the Branch from the leaseholder. Ford the Leatham (difficult if high). The 4WD road continues for a further 15km to Greigs Hut (15 bunks, standard). Note that the Alan Stream and Henry Stream fords can be very rough.
