Graham Burns, BrianWyn Irwin, Christopher Johnson, and Scott Russell climbed
from near Toetoe Flat on the Landsborough up the broad spur north of Dobson
Stream, to make first ascents to Fraser Col, Mt Dobson, Surveyors Col, Mt
Kitson, and Welch Peak. They descended into the South Elcho via Surveyors
Col, generally regarded as providing the easiest travel between these two
valleys.
