Straightforward from the Lambert Glacier up snow and easy bedrock. There are campsites but they are exposed to the weather.
To descend to the Frances Glacier. The couloir directly off the saddle is usually broken and nasty. An easy option is to head south west 200m along the Divide and sidle down to a snow shelf at 1920m. Then swing back slightly north of east down snowslopes to the Frances Glacier.
