The approach to the Pass is straightforward from both east and west. From
Brodrick Hut cross the gully in front of the hut and ascend the snowgrass
slopes close to the southern flank of Mt McKenzie. Time from hut to pass, 3-4
hours.

From Creswicke Flat, follow McKenzie Stream until it forks, then take the
northern (true right) branch up to the pass. Creswicke Flat to Brodrick Pass
5-6 hours. Pass to Brodrick Hut 2-3 hours.
