Follow the bush spur out of Sinbad Gully to the East Ridge. The upper section of the ridge is very exposed and provides panoramic views back into the Darran Range.

Follow the obvious waterfall opposite Deep Water Basin into a left-tending basin that climbs steep bush to the southern slopes of Mt Phillips. The summit ridge is steep, exposed and exciting.
