From Griffiths Stream, an easy but uninspiring approach on gravel leads to the Griffiths Glacier. At a little less than a kilometre long, this is the largest ice feature in the area. Travel up the glacier is easy, but there are a number of small crevasses.
From Gifford Stream, follow an easy scree gully then snow slopes to the saddle.
