Start south of the face, traverse up the full length of a snow ramp, and then head up mixed snow and rock past a prominent large block. It would be awful in summer when more rock is exposed.

It looks easy, but I graded it Mt Cook Alpine 3 because there were 2 mixed moves involving a steep layback. I had to let go of my tools, and the strenousness of the moves caused the strap of my expensive watch to break.
After the crux I got my rope out and abseiled down but I could not find that watch again.
I dunno what the M grade would be but M2-3 might be correct.
