Climb scree slopes and a rotten rock ridge onto Emas Dome, then drop onto the Forrest Ross Glacier névé. Climb up under the summit of Douglas and finish by cutting right to the col with Glacier Peak. A more popular alternative when climbing Douglas from the Tasman valley is to traverse Glacier Peak.
