The south east face of Mt Humphries was among the last faces in the valley to
receive an ascent. The approach is up a broken snow field to the centre of
the face, and the route takes the centre just left of an overhang, trends
right up a ramp to a vertical corner, then slightly left to complete a
central finish. 400m in height, of which two thirds are on excellent rock
while the top section is a bit scruffy, crux grade 15.
