Tegel Wall

The crag obtains its name from its close proximity to the Hen and Chickens Bluff and a well known supplier of frozen chickens. Descend the steep gully below the Translator Road at the cutting below Tahurangi Lodge. The crag and associated slab is an excellent training area for novice climbers and abseilers in most weathers. It is well sheltered from the predominant winds and has a sunny aspect.
