Ngā Poutiriao ō Mauao, the Mauao Joint Administration Board, has decided not to allow climbing on Mauao (Mt Maunganui). The bolts were removed in 2021.

The seam right of Forgotten, hard moves where the seam narrows, and the slabby ledge is gained. DRB shared with Forgotten. Can belay to the first bolt of Bacon Butty, and in this area nice not to be on the track.
