Sometimes also called Paper Tiger. Colins project was from the stand start and he tried..And tried. And tried. Sharik sent it from the Stand start in 2004. That is Col's Traverse that he graded V10. Sharik sent it from the Sit Start and graded it V11. Known as Cols Traverse SS. Stu sent Cols Traverse SS in 2007. Originally took V11 but subsequently downgraded it to V10. Stu resends Cols traverse SS in 2010 and renames to Paper Tiger. JFM sends Cols Traverse in 2011 and says V9/V10 Liam Sends Cols traverse SS/Paper Tiger 2012 and says V11 after all.
Isn't that how all climbs are graded Derek? Or are you saying that the grade is wrong? Because the consensus suggests otherwise.
My 2c is that I guess you have to say that current consensus from those who have sent it has to put the sit start at V11. (Two vs One and the one known for being a tad harsh on the numbers). Prior to this send it should have been described as V10/11. In the case of a someone offering a grade that differs from a clear current consensus the Mag should note that in the article but use the consensus grade.
So if I climb it and say it is grade Vblah, does it get graded Vblah in the magazine? Thats awesome.
