From about pt 1633m, the range can be traversed to Avalon Peak pretty much along the ridge, but rock on the ridge is loose, and mixed with steep vegetated bluffs. The ridge becomes narrow and exposed. Near the top expect snow until midsummer. The peak is easily descended to the east.
