Approach

The crag is in the Motatapu Bluffs Conservation Area, but you cross private land to get to it. From the Roadside Attraction car park, walk up the road about 50m to a farm gate and then another 500m to the northeast, crossing the Motatapu River en route to the base of the cliff.
