Turk Ridge

Seen from the upper Wairau River, a series of impressively rugged ridges and south-facing cirques reach to the Turk Ridge, between the Rainbow River and the upper Wairau. In spite of its close proximity to the hydro road, few climbs are known in this area. The north end is easily reached from Hare Creek or by a ridge north-east of Canon Creek.
