Access:
An alternative route from the Havelock to the Frances River. Fan Stream provides straightforward
travel to the col. From Fan Col a steep narrow creek to the north leads down to the Frances River.
Alternatively, drop down to the broad shelf then head east and traverse below Pts 2016 and 1973 metres
to reach the head of a steep scree slope running down to the Frances River.
