Galena Ridge traverse from Mt Beaumont to Mt Bowen | 0m | ||||||
The ridge from Mt Beaumont to Remarkable Peak is easily traversed. East of Remarkable Peak, however, bluffs on the ridge intervene. To bypass them, descend from the plateau south-west of Remarkable Peak and sidle east for some distance, navigating around numerous bluffs under the south face of Remarkable Peak. Continue along the ridge past Dickson Pass and eventually ascend steep loose rock to Sentinel Peak before continuing to Mt Bowen. |
