On the prominent buttress leading directly to the true summit of Mt Onslow
(2310m), located at the head of the valley on the right of Cloudy Stream
valley, about 30 min walk upstream from the usual camp site.

The route starts at the base of the arete and follows this to the summit. Enters a 50m chimney at about half-height. Top pitch comes comes onto the left wall slightly to avoid a small roof (crux). Eight pitches. Descend by 5 x 50m abseils down the route.
