From the Aida Glacier, climb the spur leading towards Mt Sydney King to gain the col between Mts Phyllis and Sydney King, then up the ridge to the summit.
First ascent unknown, but the col between the Joie de Vivre and Aida Glaciers was first crossed by Archie Scott, Russell Fraser and Alf Brustad in January 1933.
