The Tatare Valley has always had a reputation for wild remoteness, with huge gorges and thick scrub. That hasn’t changed. The range itself, though, isn’t so daunting and travel along the crest is practical in some places, such as over McFetrick Peak, part of a route used to and from the Callery Valley.
