Knoll Ridge

(1 route)

In summer, an excellent buttress sits at about 2000m on the upper ski field, due south from the Knoll Ridge Café  –  and facing more or less south  –  in a corner of the upper Te Heu Heu valley.
In winter, the bluffs behind and below the Knoll Ridge café are useful for top roping practice. There is another good waterfall (WI2) below Knoll Ridge at grid ref 314134. Watch for skiers jumping off the top.
