Iron Wall

(1 route)

A wall of very dense and solid rock that could potentially be turned into a fun little consumer sport crag with short sequency routes. There are at least 8 good lines to be spotted, most of them have never been climbed, all on quality rock. A few lines look achievable on trad but most of them would be better suited as bolted. Each climb tops out on a platform, it's very easy to walk off. Height must be around 12m.
Slightly further down the river are potentially some boulder problems to be invented.
When visiting the crag, before heading back make sure to pay a quick visit to the lahar zone 5 minutes further South/West along the Around the mountain track. Very cool stuff.

Follow the crack up. Tricky start, but the top half gets easier. Well protected, bring small cams and wires.
