Ngā Poutiriao ō Mauao, the Mauao Joint Administration Board, has decided not to allow climbing on Mauao (Mt Maunganui). The bolts were removed in 2021.

Start off the low boulder and over the bulge to the bolt (don't miss this clip!). Straight up to the DRB anchor.
