From near the Hodder/Staircase junction climb the spur and then slopes onto the north ridge. Follow ridge, sidling on the west if necessary, to the top. Alternatively, from further up Staircase Stream, climb a gully to the col just south of Pinnacle, then traverse western slopes to a small rock rib which leads to the top.
