Heberley's Ridge - West Aspect

Sloping fine crack, small wires, finish up to ledge by big holds.

From the base of the sloping crack climb direct, following small corner. Absolute minimum pro, ground fall possible for exit.

Scramble to top of ridge

Face to the right of solo gully. Start on crack just to the right of solo gully, great friction slab, pro is fair, exit via chossy corner. First ascent climbed with overhanging icicles that fell every few minutes.

On the far right of the main slab, LH edge of the overhang section. Up ledges and cracks and over horizontal edge, (crux) good gear. Follow fractured slab up to loose and delicate finish. Try not to kill your belayer.

On the right hand edge of the overhang, follow distinctive cracks on steepening face meeting with the edge of the overhang. Surmount the overhang by moving right. Move left above and follow easy slab then the very friable finish.
