A good day trip from Courthouse Flat, or an interesting alternative route to return to there from Granity Pass Hut. From the hut, proceed to Sanctuary Basin, then gain the ridge by any suitable route. Descend the north ridge. Pick up the track into Nuggety Creek. (NB: the ridge route is seriously overgrown with gorse lower down).
