Level 3 is high on the hill between Al Cap and Cliff Richard and with a more open aspect remains mostly dry all year. It has some quality options in the mid-20s.
About 10 minutes walk from either Al Cap or Cliff Richard.
From Al Cap head right past Top Shelf then up the broad gully. Take a fork to the right marked by orange tape. Where you start descending into the underworld; back up a little, climb up over the bushy boulder, and a little parkour brings you to Level 3.
From Cliff Richard, continue up the gully past Cliff Richard until the gully levels off briefly, look for orange tape marking a trail exiting left. This takes you around a ridge and soon to Level 3.
