Routes
Reference | Title | Grade | Length | Pro | Quality | Alert | Operations |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 1Bear, 15 | 15 | 15m | ||||
Start at the eastern most point, which is coincidentally the lowest point, of the crag and climb to a ledge at one third height. Step over the small overhang onto the face of a large block pinnacle and climb the bolted edge to the top. From a distance the pinnacle resembles a bear standing on hind legs—well, so they say… |
|||||||
2 | 2Wolf, 18 | 18 | 10m | ||||
Nice clean climbing on the arête right of Bear. Limited pro. |
|||||||
3 | 3Pollinated Pencil, 17 | 17 | 12m | ||||
To the right of Wolf, follow the clean slab to a clean crack with excellent protection. After the crack head slightly left. Nice easy climbing in the sun. |
|||||||
4 | 4Moss Chopper, 14 | 14 | 20m | ||||
Ten metres right of Bear, climb the crack through the overhang and out onto an arête. |
|||||||
5 | 5Knock the Block, 13 | 13 | 15m | ||||
Right of Moss Chopper. Start on clean rock, then move right on easy ground. |
|||||||
6 | 6Hummingbird, 17 | 17 | 20m | ||||
At mid-point along the crag a small ridge descends to the top of the Little Eiger. Immediately left of this point is the start of the climb. Once over the overhang, follow the ledge until it steepens, then climb the left face to the highest point of the crag. |
|||||||
Chocolate Fish, 15 | 15 | 11m | |||||
Extreme right of Hummingbird. Start on small smooth slab, climb up and left of main overhang. Step right and move on to top. |
|||||||
I’m Back, I’m Back, I’m Here to Climb, WI3 | WI3 | ||||||
Climb the steepest highest part of the Top Tier crag near the southern end and follow the arete to an overhang near the top. Climb left around the bulge to top out onto Pleasant Valley. |
|||||||
Corner Dilemma, WI3 | WI3 | ||||||
The northern corner via a steep narrow couloir which tends right. Straightforward climbing but a little cramped. Once on a ledge climb the face above and to the left. |
