Ngā Poutiriao ō Mauao, the Mauao Joint Administration Board, has decided not to allow climbing on Mauao (Mt Maunganui). The bolts were removed in 2021.

Climb the line of bolts to the right of the crack. DRB as K2. Three bolts to anchor.
