Approach
Eric Stream is straightforward travelling mainly on the true right. Continue up the snow gully draining the pass, which steepens towards the end. The descent from the Main Divide to Prospectors Creek is easy enough, but continuing down Prospectors Creek below 1300 metres is difficult, with scrub, big boulders and cataracts. Instead, sidle over the spur on the true left to pick up the track down the spur on the true right of Bettison Stream. Camping is available on grassy terraces in Prospectors Creek.
